i lost my fucking mind today ii. 

for those of you who lost sleep after the blog post heard round the block last night, today the d800 was swapped for a mark iii. 

i am not a canon man. nor a nikon man. some say i am not a man at all. in fact i’m a plaubel makina guy. but that’s not important right now. 

to quote the great ken rockwell, “please click here to support my family” and “who needs a camera with a stupid video feature?” 

i do ken, i need a video feature. because i still shoot stills on film and often motion 16mm but a video feature counted for at least half my decision.

for those of you eye deep in pixel comparisons I ultimately* went with the more “trusted” video camera that contains still photo capability and a grip that felt more comfortable. the nikon font is better however.  that is my review.
